Passé Intérieur

Mimmo Jodice

Mimmo Jodice is deeply and viscerally connected to his hometown, Naples, and has established himself as a key figure in Italian photography, following in the tradition of Luigi Ghirri and Mario Giacomelli. This is the first monograph dedicated to him (published in 1993) and spans twenty-five years of intense activity in the fields of photographic research, reportage, portraiture, and landscape.

The volume unfolds as a sequence of baroque chronicles, where the photographer’s restless gaze lingers on people and objects, seeking, beyond appearances, a piece of inner truth that must correspond to a renewed image of the world.
